What D tests

D tests sealing: whether seals keep fine particles out of the device.

Threat: fine particles slipping through seals into the device.

Medium

The D medium is defined in Test Media.

Lab-tier D tests shall use a UV tracer. Tracer equipment is listed in Kits and its preparation in Test Media.

Note (informative): The tracer lets teardown show where dust got in, and tells D debris apart from G debris (see attributing an enclosure breach).
